VERTHOS Aviation combines the proven VERTHOS management platform with the knowledge of a foremost expert in aviation safety regulations. The result is a comprehensive platform leveraging the latest advances in AI to guide you through the process of adopting and meeting the Safety Management according to Annex I Part 21, Subpart J Design Organisation Approval (DOA) as well as Subpart G Production Organisation Approval (POA) requirements. VERTHOS also supports SMS in Part-145 Maintenance Organisations and Continuing Airworthiness Management Organisations according to Part-CAMO. It includes modules linked to Configuration Control as related to Risk Determination and Safety Management. We are also planning future capability for SMS in Aircraft Operation according to Part-ORO.

Gus Collins
Chief Operations Officer
Gus co-founded VERTHOS and serves as Chief Operations Officer.
He is a highly experienced executive having held Director and Executive VP positions in Aldiscon, a technology company that became the world market leader in text messaging solutions. Aldiscon was acquired after 8 years, achieving annual revenue in excess of $400M.
Gus was involved in start-ups Aran Technology, and a mobile infrastructure company called Highpoint, which were both acquired.
He had operational responsibility for the rollout and upgrade of 3G wireless technology in Ireland for O2 mobile operator, and for 4G in Netshare, a joint venture between operators Vodafone and Three mobile operators. He managed budgets in excess of $100M and delivering to all regulatory license obligations.
Prior to setting up VERTHOS, he was a consultant with companies involved in the rollout of fibre infrastructure, as well as supporting eir in their tender response to the Irish Governments National Broadband tender.
Gus is the holder of 6 registered patents.
Jerry Foley
Sales and Business Development Director
Jerry heads up sales and business development at VERTHOS.
Jerry is an I.T. veteran with extensive experience in all areas of the Software Development Life Cycle. He has held senior management roles in both public and private sector organisations in the UK and Ireland.
As an entrepreneur, he has launched his own businesses, worked with a range of technology start-ups and delivered products to market. He built systems for/in partnership with Sony Pictures, Sunday Times (UK), O2 (Telofonica), the IRB (International Rugby Board), GAA (Gaelic Athletic Association) and FAI (Football Association of Ireland). He has worked with numerous global sports stars including Justin Rose, Colin Montgomerie, Alan Hansen, Jay-Jay Okocha and Stephen Hendry. These assignments involved the development and successful launch of products in a range of International markets including the UK, Europe, Australia and USA. His business development experience has made him adept at delivering I.T. solutions to solve customer pains. More recently he has been involved in strategic guidance/business development for a number of technology businesses.
Linda McBride
Principal Software Engineer
Linda has over 20 years experience in senior development roles across a range of industries from banking to telecoms.
She leads the development of the primary user interfaces on our VERTHOS platform.
Linda previously worked with Digital Equipment Corporation and with Bank of Ireland.
She also served as Senior Software Engineer with Sepro Telecom where she led the development of the core data dictionary tools that underpinned the company’s rules based systems.
Linda has extensive experience in building large-scale rule-based systems.
She has co-founded several companies and has served on two boards over 20 years.
